This is one of those pieces that I have worked on and re-worked as they are an extension of my present moment. The person who I was surrounded by wasn’t a person I wanted to remember. So I painted over the memory of her, to paint some vague recollection of her.

This mixed media painting uses ink, graphite, acrylic, spilled rum, and the foam that comes out of fire extinguishers. I can’t remember the details of that night, but it ended with ignored messages, a messy hangover, and a decision to never talk to that person again.
